Comforting a stranger
Dear stranger,
Assalamu Alaikum.
Honestly, Life is hard. And I think the hardest thing about it, is when you realize how hard it is to live.
But let’s not forget that We were all created by Allah swt for a purpose, a reason and tests to go through and pass if we’re among the believers.
And Like Allah Swt said in the holy Quran,
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155)
These days, we forget our creator and we are distracted by his creation.
We forget that the ease we get is from him and the hardship we get is also from him.
If Allah wills, our lives could be taken at any moment. But we tend to forget this and live a life we feel is comfortable.
Forgetting that real comfort begins, when we enter paradise.
Now, I don’t know what exactly is disturbing your heart or what is making you feel so down, but one thing I’m certain about is the cure.
That is, Allah and his Quran.
Just like Allah afflicted you with this challenge, he will also be the one to rescue you.
Like he rescued yunus AS from the belly of the whale, Yusuf AS from the well, Musa AS from the pharaoh, Ayyub AS from illness, zakariya AS from lack of children and Ibrahim AS from the fire, he will surely rescue you because the lord that rescued them, is still the same lord that gave you a soul.
With this, I would like to leave you with some comforting verses. May Allah make it easy for us all.
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286)
“Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153)
“For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.”
(Surah Al-Inshirah 94:5-6)
“Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”
(Surah Ghafir 40:60)
“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.’”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:53)
